Job summary

Jetts group in Auckland is seeking a part-time Club Assistant to support the Club Manager in delivering an outstanding member experience and driving membership growth. The role emphasizes friendly service, proactive engagement with members, and a strong willingness to contribute to a positive club culture.

You will work 20 hours per week with weekends off, gaining competitive commission for KPI targets, complimentary Jetts membership, and access to development courses.

Qualifications

• New Zealand citizen, resident or holder of an open long‑term work visa.
• Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR and defibrillator (NZQA unit standards 6401 and 6402).
• Excellent customer-service skills and a natural sales talent.
• Self-motivated and disciplined, able to thrive in a sole role with a focus on customer engagement.
• Available to work 20 hours per week, with weekends off, on a part‑time basis.
• Key interest in the health and fitness industry.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Club Manager to drive an exceptional member experience and build stakeholder relationships with members and local businesses.
• Deliver on the agreed number of new membership sales and member growth on a regular basis, reporting to the Regional Performance Manager.
• Maintain a positive club culture by engaging in key events and promotions.
• Perform regular in‑club operations tasks to ensure all areas remain clean and hygienic, and that equipment and club repairs are updated and scheduled regularly.
