Allied Press are recruiting for this pivotal position and are seeking a dynamic Media Sales Manager to lead sales teams across flagship publications, including the Otago Daily Times and The Star Dunedin.

The Role:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating our advertising sales teams across print and digital platforms. Your focus will be on maximising sales revenue, securing new business, and developing strong client relationships. You'll also oversee the commercial sales strategy for Properties Today and Property Times, growing advertising in both print and digital spaces.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage the sales team, setting targets and driving results.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Strengthen relationships with key clients and develop new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Champion Allied Press's premier publications across the advertising market.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven sales leadership experience, ideally in media, print, or digital advertising.
  • Sales leadership in FMCG or Technology HIGHLY REGARDED
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Established history of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
  • Experience managing teams and fostering a high-performance sales culture.
