Looking ahead to 2025, we’re well-placed to support a more sustainable future for generations to come.

Join our motivated and trusted team, where innovation is encouraged, challenges are embraced, and your contribution matters. As our team continues to grow, we have multiple opportunities for Mechanical Engineers at various experience levels to join us in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.

In these roles, you’ll:

  • Take ownership of engineering tasks that grow in scope and complexity, with support and guidance from senior team members
  • Contribute to analysis, design work, tenders, and proposals
  • Coordination with other disciplines (such as civil, structural, electrical, geotechnical etc.)
  • Delegate, supervise and mentor junior mechanical engineers
  • Work actively towards professional certification or registration
  • Help prepare documentation, ensuring accuracy and meeting quality standards
  • Build your understanding of business operations, including budgets and revenue
  • Develop your communication, presentation, networking, and consulting skills

We’re looking for Mechanical Engineers with excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder relationship skills, those who are passionate about making a difference and thrive in a collaborative environment.

We’re committed to supporting our people, and we understand that balancing work with life’s demands isn’t always easy. That’s why we’re happy to explore flexible working arrangements whether part-time or full-time.

Ko wai koe | About you

You’re a motivated engineer with a passion for water infrastructure and a collaborative mindset. You’re keen to grow your technical skills and contribute to meaningful projects that make a difference.

You’ll bring a degree in mechanical engineering and over 5 years’ experience in a consulting or utility environment, particularly in pipeline, hydraulics, pump station, wastewater or water treatment plant designs. You’ll be someone who naturally builds strong networks both within and outside the organisation. Experience with 3D Design Modelling packages (AutoCAD, Inventor and Plant 3D) will be a real advantage. Being Chartered is preferred, but we welcome those actively working towards chartership.
