Qualifications

  • Proven experience in automotive workshop settings.
  • Current New Zealand Drivers’ License Class 1 (ideally up to C4).
  • Comfortable with both servicing and repairing vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform proactive and active maintenance on heavy vehicles.
  • Conduct COF inspections and repairs on diesel and petrol motors.
  • Be on-call for out-of-hours breakdowns as necessary.

Job description

The Opportunity;
We’re looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our Auckland crew on a permanent basis!
Working on a variety of heavy vehicle brands including MAN, Scania and ADL.
This role is a variety of proactive and active maintenance. Involving COF inspections and day-to-day maintenance and repairs on both diesel and petrol motors. As well as other fleet vehicles as appropriate. You will also be rostered oncall when needed for any out of hours breakdowns.

This role is Monday to Friday and could be on the early or the late shift, depending on requirements, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, and a maximum of 60 hours, we can guarantee full time work!
Pay for this role depends on your qualifications and experience, but is between $34p/h-$45p/h.
