We are seeking a full-time permanent mathematics teacher to start term 1, 28 January 2026.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and dedicated mathematics teacher who can provide a highly engaging learning experience. Takapuna Grammar School offers a dual pathway of NCEA and International Baccalaureate. You will teach mathematics across Y9–13 with the ability to deliver programmes to NCEA Levels 1–3 and/or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.
You will have a strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and assessment practices (including NCEA), experience or willingness to teach within the International Baccalaureate framework, a commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive pedagogy, valuing the diverse backgrounds and learning needs of ākonga (students), and a collaborative approach to planning and professional learning.
All applicants must be willing to engage in ongoing professional learning and development, along with participation in extracurricular or co-curricular activities as part of the wider life of the school.
