Job summary

Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland seeks an inspiring Mathematics teacher for Years 7–13, delivering Maths and Statistics within the NZ Curriculum and IB MYP. This full-time permanent role focuses on student learning in a well-resourced environment, with emphasis on wellbeing and collaborative practice.

Job Description
Mō te tūranga | About the role
  • Encouraging and helping every student reach their potential in Mathematics and Statistics
  • Confidently teaching Mathematics and Statistics from Years 7–13, including delivery of the New Zealand Curriculum within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)
  • Monitoring student progress and providing meaningful, timely feedback
  • Fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment within a collaborative Faculty culture
  • Available to start in Term 1, 2027
  • We offer students dual qualification pathways with both NCEA and the International Baccalaureate. IB teaching experience is welcomed, but training and support will be provided for those new to the programme.
