Job summary

FORVIA HELLA in Auckland is seeking a reliable Materials Handler to support the production moulding team. You will prepare, supply and manage plastic materials, ensuring correct materials are available for injection moulding, while maintaining traceability and clean, safe work areas.

The role requires 2+ years in plastics handling, SAP experience, and a forklift/Wave licence. You will work on site in Auckland, with afternoon and graveyard shifts available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in plastics material handling in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using SAP or a similar production management system.
• Ability to identify, handle and supply materials accurately to production.
• Current forklift and Wave licences.
• Ability to work safely with manual handling and in a factory setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, dry, blend and mix plastics materials per production requirements and work instructions.
• Ensure correct materials are supplied to injection moulding machines as needed.
• Monitor material availability and flag shortages before production is affected.
• Maintain material traceability and proper storage to prevent contamination.
• Operate material-handling equipment and support recycling and waste reduction initiatives.
• Record material movements in SAP and assist with housekeeping and safety.
