Job description

Join a market leader in climate innovation and help shape the future of production planning at their Hamilton facility.

My client, a leading manufacturer of air conditioning and ventilation solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Master Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This is a pivotal role where you’ll drive the efficiency and accuracy of our production planning processes, ensuring alignment with our Sales and Operations Plan.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for the Australasian business.
  • Collaborate with production schedulers to optimise capacity planning across frozen and slushy horizons.
  • Maintain daily and weekly production schedules for subassemblies and final assemblies.
  • Communicate effectively with Sales, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure schedule accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of 5S and ERP best practices.
  • Liaise with Auckland schedulers to manage component replenishment and stock availability.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in production scheduling, MRP systems, and ERP platforms (Epicor knowledge a plus but not essential).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and BOMs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A methodical, logical approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • CPIM certification (preferred but not essential).
