Qualifications

• Experience painting boats or vehicles.
• Knowledge of 2K products.
• Prep substrates for painting.
• Apply topcoats and perform fairing.
• Identify and correct surface blemishes.
• Surface compound, buffing, polishing and waxing.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Understand Work Health & Safety (WHS).
• Trade qualification is an advantage.
• White Card, EWP, Confined Space & Working at Heights are advantageous.

We are seeking experienced MarinePainters to join a World class builder of award winning Yachts in the luxury Marine Industry based in New Zealand. We are continually expanding our team to meet demands of a growing portfolio of projects.

If you would like to lodge an expression of interest, please ensure you have the following skills:

• Able to demonstrate previous employment history in painting vehicles or boats.
• Have extensive knowledge of 2K products.
• Have sound knowledge of prepping various substrates ready for painting.
• Experience in the application of topcoats and fairing
• Able to identify and correct any surface blemishes.
• Surface compound application, buffing/polishing/waxing experience
• Acute attention to detail paramount
• A clear understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS)
• Trade qualified an advantage.
• White Card, EWP , Confined Space & Working at Heights would be an advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time
