Job summary

Talley’s is seeking a Marine 2nd Engineer to join the Amaltal Enterprise and Amaltal Explorer in January 2027. You will report to the Chief Engineer, perform watchkeeping, and maintain the ship's machinery and structure while at sea.

Qualifications

• MEC5 certificate required and experience as marine engineer on a fishing vessel.
• Strong Health and Safety awareness and compliance.
• Attention to detail with proactive approach to duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out engine room watchkeeping duties and ensure safe operations.
• Maintain and monitor ship's machinery, equipment and structure.
• Operate and monitor marine engineering systems with vigilance.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety practices on board.
