Job summary

Meridial is seeking a Māori Language Specialist – AI Trainer to enhance AI tools with linguistic and cultural expertise. This remote contract position requires fluency in Māori, where you will evaluate and refine Māori text outputs while providing essential feedback on their accuracy and fluency.

Key responsibilities include reviewing content and collaborating with the team to improve AI model performance. Ideal candidates will have experience in translation or language teaching, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.

The pay ranges from $8 to $65 per hour, determined by experience and expertise.

Qualifications

• Required fluency in Māori and experience in translation or related work.
• Experience in training or linguistic annotation is a plus.
