Job summary

Enviro NZ is seeking a strategic Manager of Technology Engineering and Architecture to spearhead IT architecture, standards, and solution design. You will shape the future of technology and lead architecture reviews, ensuring secure, scalable solutions for customers and staff.

In this leadership role, you will collaborate with executives to set technology priorities, drive architectural governance, and champion innovative, compliant approaches that balance risk and value.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of enterprise applications, integration, cloud platforms, infrastructure and cyber.
• Ability to develop enterprise technology architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Platforms (D365, AZURE).
• Experience enabling practical and responsible use of AI within architecture.
• Experience leading technical design authority reviews and ensuring security, privacy, and operational requirements.
• Leadership in guiding technology lifecycle planning, system rationalisation, and vendor evaluations.
• Strong architecture foundations (TOGAF).
• Excellent communication skills, translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Job description

We are seeking a strategic Manager of Technology Engineering and Architecture to spearhead Enviro NZ's IT architecture, standards, and solution design.
Enviro NZ is in the midst of redefining what good looks like, with one eye on now and the other on future possibilities with the focus of providing exceptional experience to customers and staff.
Within the newly created leadership position, you will play a key role in shaping the future of technology.

The skills you already possess

• A broad understanding of enterprise applications, integration, cloud platforms, infrastructure and cyber.
• The ability to develop enterprise technology architecture.
• Strong exposure to Microsoft Enterprise Platforms (D365, AZURE).
• Experience contributing to the architecture, strategy, and technology foundations required to enable practical and responsible use of AI.
• Experience leading technical design authority reviews and ensuring solutions meet security, privacy, and operational requirements.
• Proven leadership in guiding technology lifecycle planning, system rationalisation, and vendor evaluations.
• Strong architecture foundations (TOGAF)
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
