EY in Auckland, New Zealand seeks a Manager Internal Audit within Risk Consulting to lead internal audit engagements, ensuring effective risk management, control, and governance processes. This onsite role is based in Auckland.

You will manage engagement planning, execution and reporting, mentor junior staff, and help strengthen client relationships while upholding professional standards and budgets.

As our Manager Internal Audit - Risk Consulting practice, you’ll play a crucial role in managing internal audit engagements to ensure the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. This role is based inAuckland, New Zealand.

• Manage internal audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting. Engage with clients and manage client relationships effectively
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Ensure compliance with internal audit standards and relevant regulations.
• Mentor and develop junior team members delivering Internal Audit, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

This is an onsite position based in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field, with strong analytical abilities and effective problem‑solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities are essential.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
• Professional services experience or experience in working with a large complex multi‑facet organisation desired. Ability to manage budgets and oversee the team delivering Internal Audit.
