  • Experience driving organisational change and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts.
  • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and partnership principles.

  • Set and deliver the organisation’s information management strategy and roadmap
  • Establish and maintain information governance frameworks, policies, and standards
  • Ensure compliance with the Public Records Act and regulatory requirements
  • Lead delivery of information lifecycle management systems and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, including emerging technologies
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence enterprise-wide adoption

The Manager – Information is a senior leadership role responsible for establishing and leading enterprise-wide information and knowledge management at Kāinga Ora. The role ensures information assets are effectively managed, governed, and leveraged to support a modern, intelligence-led organisation, enabling better decision-making and a seamless digital workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Set and deliver the organisation’s information management strategy and roadmap
  • Establish and maintain information governance frameworks, policies, and standards
  • Ensure compliance with the Public Records Act and regulatory requirements
  • Lead delivery of information lifecycle management systems and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, including emerging technologies
