About the Role:

Provide franchisees with high-level business guidance, coaching, and support to ensure a great guest experience, sales, and profit growth. Influence franchisees to adhere to Subway operating procedures and brand standards. Communicate SMART performance goals clearly. Encourage restaurant growth by identifying potential MUOs and helping them meet SMO MUO growth metrics. Assist franchisees in compliance with franchise agreements, including remodel status and financial terms.

Essential Functions:

  • Grow: Impart operational excellence, food safety, and business knowledge. Evaluate restaurants using the Business Coaching Tool, encourage Self REV, develop corrective action plans, analyze sales and P&L data, support all sales channels, and review franchise portfolios to identify opportunities.
  • Relationships: Develop relationships with franchisees, colleagues, and HQ staff. Coach franchisees to achieve SMART goals, promote their business locally, and participate in franchise meetings and events. Lead training sessions and coach during peak trade periods.
  • New Stores / Remodels / Relocations: Guide franchisees through openings, remodels, and relocations. Assess readiness, recommend sites, and assist with planning and evaluation.
  • Self-Development: Complete training programs, participate in scheduled classes, travel for meetings, and understand new initiatives to effectively support franchisees.

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Minimum 5 years restaurant leadership experience, with 2+ years in above-restaurant roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, or Commerce preferred.
  • Ability to influence franchisees and learn new initiatives.
  • Proven sales, profit, and restaurant excellence achievement.
  • Excellent communication skills, financial analysis ability.
  • Hands-on or quick learner for restaurant visits.
  • Autonomous, professional, adaptable, and self-motivated problem solver.
