About the Role

Join us in shaping the future of New Zealand’s building and construction sector.

We’re looking for a strategic and people-focused leader to head our Business Systems and Operations team within the Building System Delivery & Assurance group. This is a pivotal role that enables the wider business to deliver effectively on its regulatory functions under the Building Act.

As Manager, Business Systems and Operations, you’ll work closely with the Head of Building System Delivery & Assurance and other senior leaders to drive transformational change, uplift team performance, and embed a culture of excellence.

  • Lead the Business Systems and Operations team, overseeing planning, monitoring, and delivery of business-enabling services.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic work programme aligned with regulatory and operational priorities.
  • Manage ICT platforms, vendor relationships, and ensure systems are robust and fit-for-purpose.
  • Drive continuous improvement, process documentation, and operational projects across the team.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support service improvement and transformation.
  • Provide strong people leadership, coaching, and capability development to build a high-performing team.
