Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our team and partner closely with business units to deliver accurate management reporting, insightful analysis, and advice. You’ll play a key role in ensuring sound financial management and helping lift financial capability across the organisation.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll own the full management accounting cycle, including month-end processes, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You’ll provide expert financial and business advice to support decision-making and contribute to project accounting—evaluating new initiatives, developing business cases, and offering ongoing financial support.

What you’ll bring
  • Proven experience in management accounting or a finance-related business environment
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Government finance experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or commerce
  • CAANZ membership (or equivalent)
