Bupa Ashford Care Home in Prebbleton, Christchurch is seeking a part-time Maintenance Officer to maintain and upkeep the facility, following planned maintenance programmes, manage energy costs, and keep accurate records. You will oversee contractors on site and contribute to minor refurbishments with managers.

The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience and a relevant vocational/technical qualification, with power tools used safely. Flexible, permanent part-time hours available.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ maintenance experience in a similar role.
• Relevant vocational or technical qualification.
• Ability to safely use power tools and maintenance equipment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and upkeep the facility.
• Follow preventative and planned maintenance programmes.
• Manage cost efficiency and monitor energy usage for improvements.
• Keep accurate records of works completed and ensure compliance.
• Manage contractors on site and negotiate best price/value.
• Assist in minor refurbishment planning with managers.
