Join a growing team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Leesburg, IN area! This direct-hire role offers excellent benefits and a collaborative work environment. The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in ensuring smooth plant operations by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks while upholding safety and company regulations.

Position Details:

  • Shift: 1st Shift
  • Pay Rate: $29-$30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, including inspecting belts, chains, and electrical cabinets.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of preventative maintenance activities.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery as needed for repairs.
  • Research and request necessary parts for maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and assist with additional assigned tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in factory maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of production equipment, operational processes, and SOPs.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with industrial electricity (up to 480V, 3-phase), refrigeration, mechanical systems, PLCs, and TIG welding.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical issues with production and plant equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, work orders, and labels.
  • Familiarity with USDA guidelines, OSHA regulations, HAACP protocols, GMPs, and company policies.
