About the role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering Services Team, based at our new processing centre in Wiri. The purpose of the role is to ensure our operations in the automation processing facilities are maintained appropriately to enable optimum processing of freight and letters.

The role will cover maintenance planning activity at our processing centres nationwide and will involve;

  • Planning of maintenance activities through analysis of the maintenance/production data
  • Allocation of resources to ensure that processing equipment is maintained and kept in an as built condition.
  • Coordination of the technical support team, operations team, Information Technology systems team and supply contractors to ensure that the maintenance of the equipment is suitably planned and resourced to an optimal level.
  • Analysis, planning and scheduling of resources and equipment to ensure the effective maintenance of the equipment during the available maintenance windows.

This role is based at our Wiri site in Auckland, however due to the national focus of the role, travel to our other sites nationwide will be required from time to time.

About You

Ideally we are seeking strong maintenance planning experience, with production and planning at the forefront. You will have the ability to translate data and information, turning this into actionable insights and outcomes. Your background may be in industrial maintenance, however, if you can communicate effectively at all levels and are highly organised, then we want to hear from you.

Alongside the above, you'll couple this with;

  • A technical qualification in a related engineering field (mechanical or electrical)
  • Being a collaborator and relationship builder
  • Experience with computerised maintenance planning systems
  • An analytical curiosity and a relentless pursuit for better
  • SAP or MEX experience preferable
