Maintenance Lead

We"re Kraft Heinz, a global food company that"s passionate about making life delicious! Our King Street Engineering team is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Maintenance Lead to join the crew. As a Maintenance Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning of our maintenance operations, leading a team of 9 staff members, and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defect Handling, Breakdown Elimination, and Health Checks: Ensure that defect handling, breakdown elimination, and health checks are functioning properly, and conduct at least three health checks per week.

  • Team Management: Manage team-related tasks, including overtime, holiday, and performance management, and coach and support your team on the shop floor.

  • Capital Projects and Maintenance Planning: Support capital projects and maintenance planning meetings, define priorities for overhauls, and participate in overhaul meetings.

  • Shop Floor Presence: Spend 50%/50% of your time on the shop floor, coaching, conducting health checks, and understanding failures.

  • Documentation and Training: Document maintenance tasks, create standard maintenance procedures (SMPs), and train others on documented procedures to ensure knowledge sharing.

  • Administrative Tasks: Focus administrative tasks on building systems for sustainable results, including breakdown investigations and capability building.

  • Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) Digital Coach and MRE Pillar: Support the KHMS Digital Coach for the MRE pillar, implement maintenance strategy, asset criticality, and TBR, and split ownership of MRE chapters among maintenance leads.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance technicians and other team members to execute tasks and achieve maintenance goals.
