Maintenance Engineer – Nelson – up to £38,000 pa – Manufacturing

Mon to Thurs 06:30-16:30

The Role

As a maintenance engineer you will be required to use multi engineering skills to ensure that the site and machinery run to their maximum efficiency without compromising product quality.

You will be required to carry out preventative maintenance tasks and general maintenance, respond to equipment breakdown in a fast and professional manner in order to maximise equipment up-time and identify and resolve root cause of failure.

Accurately complete all maintenance paperwork, ensuring all procedures relating to personal and food safety are adhered to at all times, and set up production lines each morning in accordance with production.

The Person

You will have a good knowledge of working with the following: flow wrap machines, metal detectors and ink jets machines, heating systems, conveyor systems, ovens, turbo temp and enrobing machines.

Qualified to a minimum of a NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
