Job summary

An international food processing company in Hamilton, New Zealand, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to execute preventive maintenance and installation tasks. You will work on capital equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a positive customer relationship. Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in installations, maintenance, and/or service work.
  • Independently deliver preventive maintenance and installation tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive maintenance activities according to Tetra Pak procedures.
  • Disassemble and mechanically assemble capital equipment at customer site.
  • Participate in installation of rebuilding kits.
  • Conduct testing and calibration activities.
  • Report maintenance activities using TPMS tool.
  • Promote a safe working culture and act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak.

Execute preventive maintenance of customer equipment. Execute installation tasks as required

What you will do
  • Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment
  • Execute disassembling and mechanical assembling of capital equipment at customer site
  • Participate in the installation of electro-mechanical rebuilding kits according to procedure
  • Execute testing and calibration activities
  • Use of TPMS tool to report preventive maintenance, correct work
  • Proactively contribute with opportunities and ideas regarding business development of customers
  • Execute all work in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team
  • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customer and that TP’s reputation is sustained
We believe you have

2 years of experience in Installations, maintenance, and/or service work. Can independently deliver preventive maintenance, installation tasks, and rebuilding kit installations.
