Te Tūranga / About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity at our Finegand site for a motivated and skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our large team in 2025. Whether you come from a commercial background and wish to upskill into industrial work, or you already have industrial electrical expertise seeking the next step in your career, our largest site in the South Island and our dedicated engineering team could be the perfect fit.

This role is essential in providing electrical services, including the installation, maintenance, and reliability of our industrial equipment, as well as participating in project work now and in the future.

Ōu Pūkenga / About You

Previous experience in FMCG or transferrable processing environments would be advantageous. The key qualities include the ability to work well as part of a team, fault identification, and using analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver excellent service to the processing plant. Good interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and innovative thinking are valued. You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects, install new site equipment, and work across various electrical applications on site.

• Relevant Trades Qualification and Full NZ EWRB Electrical registration.
• Strong knowledge of electrical principles, repairs, and maintenance procedures on a large industrial processing site.
• Exposure to PLC, VSDs, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions promptly, with clear communication.
• Self-motivated, capable of working independently and within a supportive engineering team.
• Organized with the ability to plan and prioritize workload in a challenging environment, leading by example.
• Willingness to learn and upskill, including leadership, refrigeration, or project design.
