Job summary

Craggy Range Vineyards in Martinborough, North Island, is seeking an experienced Machinery Operator to join the Martinborough Vineyard team on a fixed-term basis. The role involves hands-on vineyard machinery operations and close teamwork to implement weekly work programs.

The successful candidate will maintain and coordinate maintenance for vineyard machinery, ensuring safety and efficiency. NZ residency and legal right to work are required; the term may be extended for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• A passion for the viticulture or horticulture industry.
• Full New Zealand driver’s license.
• Experience repairing and maintaining plant and equipment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Quals such as Growsafe, Approved Handler, HT are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform vineyard machinery operations as part of the Martinborough Vineyard team.
• Maintain vineyard machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to keep the fleet safe and efficient.
• Support weekly work program execution with the team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedMachinery Operator to join our Martinborough Vineyard team.

This hands-on role is responsible for performing vineyardmachinery operations working closely with the team to implement and conductweekly work program. The successful candidate will also play a key role inmaintaining vineyard machinery and equipment, and assisting in coordinatingmaintenance activities to ensure our fleet operates safely and efficiently.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A passion for theviticulture or horticulture industry
• A full New Zealanddriver's license
• Experience repairing andmaintaining plant and equipment
• Strong organisationalskills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications i.e. Growsafe, ApprovedHandlers, HT and an interest in organics and organic conversion would bean advantage.
