Job summary

Genesis in Auckland is hiring a Class 2 Driver Filler to join our LPG team at East Tamaki Depot. You’ll deliver LPG cylinders to homes and businesses and support depot operations.

Starting early, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays, you’ll ensure safe handling, accurate deliveries and excellent customer service while representing Genesis.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months’ driving experience.
• Experience delivering goods in a customer-facing role.
• Dangerous Goods endorsement or willingness to complete training.
• Good physical fitness and ability to move LPG cylinders safely.
• Strong safety mindset and reliability.
• Flexible, positive attitude and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LPG cylinders to residential and commercial customers.
• Fill, connect and safely handle cylinders at depot.
• Support day-to-day depot operations including stocktaking, cylinder maintenance and truck washing.
• Provide friendly, reliable customer service while representing Genesis on the road.

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a Class 2 Driver Filler to join our LPG team at East Tamaki Depot.

In this role, you’ll be out on the road delivering LPG cylinders to our residential and commercial customers, while also supporting day-to-day depot operations. You’ll safely fill, deliver, place and connect LPG cylinders, making sure every customer receives friendly, reliable and solutions-focused service.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with some Saturdays as required, plus paid rostered on-call weekends. You’ll start early (around 6:30-7am) and finish late-afternoon.

• Start your morning early by checking your manifest and adjusting the preloaded truck
• Deliver LPG cylinders to residential and commercial customers, collecting empties along the way
• Provide great customer service while representing Genesis out on the road
• Support depot operations including stocktaking, cylinder maintenance, filling, and truck washing
• Follow all safety processes when handling LPG and operating vehicles.
  

What you’ll need:

We’re looking for someone who is safety-focused, reliable and confident working independently while delivering a great customer experience.

• At least 6 months’ driving experience
• Previous experience delivering goods, ideally in a customer-facing role
• A Dangerous Goods endorsement, or willingness to complete the required training
• Good physical fitness and confidence moving heavy LPG cylinders safely
• A practical, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to safety
• Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude
• Great communication skills and a customer-first mindset

Successful applicants must complete pre-employment checks, including a medical (with ACC claims history) and drug test, Ministry of Justice and driver-licence checks, and reference checks.
