A bit about the role

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic candidate to join our Profit Protection Team at Mitre 10 MEGA Petone. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Preventing any theft or damage from taking place within the store
• Ensuring there is a high visibility of Security presence during store opening hours
• Focus on reducing shrinkage & promoting loss prevention
• Ensuring the company image is protected by maintaining excellent customer service skills

The successful applicant will be a quick thinking, assertive but polite, with strong attention to detail.

In addition, we are ideally seeking:

• Basic computer knowledge
• Experience and confidence using CCTV and other monitoring equipment
• A good level of fitness as the position requires you to be on your feet for most of the day
• Understanding of health, safety, and wellness, along with relevant practices within retail and how to keep our team mentally and physically safe, along with our customers.

This is a full-time position, and will be rostered Tuesday - Saturday.
