Overview

We are currently seeking passionate Lodge Assistants for the upcoming season. If you enjoy working hands-on across multiple departments and you’re passionate about creating memorable experiences for others, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make your mark.

This is a full-time fixed-term position, starting in September/October 2025 through to April 2026. Midway between Christchurch and the West Coast, Wilderness Lodge Arthur's Pass sits on a 4000-acre farm & nature reserve surrounded by the spectacular Arthur's Pass National Park. Designed to fit carefully into the landscape, the lodge offers spectacular mountain views from every window. There are a range of activities to explore, guided adventures to discover nature and farm life - kayak, hike, search for rare wildlife, watch sheep-dogs in action & learn about growing fine merino wool. Stylish accommodation, delicious food & warm hospitality complete the experience. The Wilderness Lodge is family owned and has been at the forefront of nature protection for over 25 years.

Responsibilities

The successful applicants will have a true passion for delighting guests and offering a memorable experience tailored to the needs of each guest. They will also have strong interpersonal skills and must work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities include support across Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Front Office as required, ensuring high standards of service, guest safety, and smooth daily operations.
