Te Whatu Ora seeks a Locum Consultant General Surgeon for a 9-month fixed-term assignment across Wellington and Kenepuru Hospitals, to deliver high-quality acute and elective general surgery and to train registrars.

The role includes on-call duties, multidisciplinary collaboration, and participation in training and supervision under the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons framework; the post is based in Wellington region with strong lifestyle benefits.

Formación

• Vocational registration in General Surgery with MCNZ as required.
• FRACS or equivalent qualification and registration with MCNZ.
• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
• Able to provide consistently high standards of medical care.
• Relevant experience and training.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality surgical care for acute and elective general surgery.
• Participate in training and supervision of Registrars.
• Contribute to consultant on-call roster.
