Job summary

Advanced Personnel Limited – Napier is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to support concreting operations in Napier, NZ. You will safely operate a loader to move aggregates, feed production areas, and assist with site prep and material handling.

The role requires proven loader experience, a strong commitment to safety, and reliability. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and be eligible to work in New Zealand. Temp to permanent opportunity with hourly pay of NZ$27–NZ$30.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a loader in concrete, quarry, construction or similar environments.
• Knowledge of safe machinery operation.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Site Safe Foundation Passport is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate a loader to move and handle aggregates, concrete materials and other products.
• Load trucks and manage material movements around site.
• Feed materials into concrete production areas as required.
• Stockpile and organise aggregate supplies.
• Assist concrete crews with site preparation and material handling.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
• Follow all health and safety policies and site procedures.
• Work closely with supervisors, drivers, and ground crews to ensure smooth operations.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Loader Operator to join our team and support our concreting operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a loader to assist with material handling, concrete production support, and general site operations.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, operates machinery safely, and enjoys being part of a hardworking team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a loader to move and handle aggregates, concrete materials, and other products.
• Loading trucks and managing material movements around site.
• Feeding materials into concrete production areas as required.
• Stockpiling and organising aggregate supplies.
• Assisting concrete crews with site preparation and material handling.
• Completing daily pre-start checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
• Following all company health and safety policies and site procedures.
• Working closely with supervisors, drivers, and ground crews to ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience operating a loader in a concrete, quarry, construction, or similar environment.
