Job summary

Turbo Staff Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumber to work across residential, commercial, and civil projects in New Zealand. This hands-on role requires a qualified tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and safe, compliant installations.

You will install, maintain and repair plumbing systems, interpret plans, and ensure compliance with the NZ Building Code and industry standards while travelling to various regions as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Plumber.
• NZ plumbing/gasfitting qualification and registration (NZ).
• Strong knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, and installation methods.
• Sound understanding of the NZ Building Code and plumbing/gasfitting standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain hot/cold water supply systems, sanitary plumbing, and drainage (above and below ground).
• Fit plumbing fixtures and appliances including basins, toilets, showers, and hot water cylinders.
• Install gas appliances, piping, flues, and pressure regulating devices.
• Fabricate and install metal roofing, guttering, and flashings.
• Diagnose faults and blockages, and carry out repairs with minimal disruption.
• Conduct pressure and leak testing to confirm compliant, reliable installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate job records and compliance documentation.
• Participate in an after-hours call-out roster where required.
