Overview

Licensed Immigration Adviser (Part-time) – Gina & Partners (NZ) Ltd provides education and work placement services, primarily for Japanese clients. Alongside this, we offer expert immigration advice across a range of visa categories. Our Auckland team is growing, and this is a chance to contribute meaningfully to our continued success.

Location: Anywhere in New Zealand

Key responsibilities
  • Provide expert immigration advice and assistance to clients, ensuring full compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
  • Manage a variety of visa applications, including pathways to residence.
  • Draft professional documentation such as cover letters, PPI responses, Section 61 requests, and other immigration submissions.
  • Conduct research and stay current with changes to immigration policies, the Operations Manual, IACs, and Visa Paks.
  • Support clients and advisers with administrative tasks including document management, correspondence, and scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate records and case progress reports.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders to deliver excellent service.
  • Supervise and mentor a provisional licence holder.
About you

You will bring professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to client care. To be successful, you will have:

  • A current full Immigration Adviser licence with the New Zealand Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA).
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand immigration law, policies, and application processes.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with resident visa pathways.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex immigration concepts for clients.
  • Proficiency with relevant digital tools and case management systems.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • A collaborative, team-focused mindset.
  • Japanese language ability (advantageous).
