Key Information

Oaklands Global are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our clients New Zealand based engineering team. In this role, you’ll carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs on company and customer helicopters, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve aircraft defects, ensuring airworthiness and accurate documentation.
  • Interpret and apply technical publications and service instructions.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and report any hazards or risks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
  • Deliver excellent service to customers and maintain positive working relationships.
Requirements
  • Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
  • EASA or UK CAA B1.3.
  • Relevant airframe or engine ratings (or ability to obtain).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.
  • Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Desirable: Type rating on BK117.
