Job summary

Jobtailor in New Zealand invites an experienced banking professional to join our Katikati and Waihi team as a Customer Banking Advisor. You will guide customers through lending, accounts, and everyday banking, build trusted relationships with clients and community partners, and deliver tailored advice using technology.

This role requires travel between branches, Monday to Friday availability, and a focus on risk-aware service and clear communication.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a professional or customer-focused role, ideally within financial services.
• Understanding of risk, regulation, and doing business safely.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel between Katikati and Waihi branches.
• CV and Cover Letter required to apply.
• Tech-savvy mindset and passion for simple, smart solutions.
• NZ Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 is a bonus.
• Tertiary qualification in Business or Finance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through lending, accounts, insurance, and everyday banking.
• Act as the go-to expert in lending.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and community partners.
• Identify opportunities and provide tailored advice.
• Deliver seamless banking solutions using technology.
• Support customers in achieving their financial goals.
• Work across and travel between the Katikati and Waihi branches.
• Work Monday to Friday.
