Westpac New Zealand Ltd is seeking a Banking Specialist to support Katikati and Waihi branches. This full-time, permanent role helps customers with lending, accounts, insurance and everyday banking, guiding them through financial moments with care and clear advice.

You will build trusted relationships with customers and community partners, identify opportunities, and deliver seamless solutions using smart technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a professional or customer-focused role, ideally financial services.
• Understanding of risk, regulation and safe business practices.
• Ability to build trust with customers and community partners.
• Clear verbal and written communication, handling competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Help customers with lending, accounts, insurance and everyday banking.
• Identify opportunities, provide tailored advice and deliver seamless solutions.
• Travel between Katikati and Waihi branches as required.
