Job description
Overview

The Firm: We're partnering with a client based in Christchurch's CBD to offer a unique opportunity within their Trusts & Estates team, arising from an upcoming retirement. The medium-sized, modern firm offers a full range of legal services and is known for a strong profile paired with a down-to-earth, family-friendly culture. They deliver top-tier service to their clients in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a Trusts & Estates support specialist to play a key role within a small, dynamic team of three authors plus others from time to time.

This role is ideal for a Legal Secretary with experience in trusts and estates, including the preparation, updating, and reviewing of trust-related documents such as wills and enduring powers of attorney (EPOAs), as well as estate administration. You may also handle overflow work from other legal practice areas across the firm.

You'll bring exceptional communication and people skills, along with an empathetic, professional approach to clients. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills will help you thrive while working autonomously, with support and guidance from the team.

Your success is a priority for our client, with mentorship, development, and career progression actively encouraged.

For the right candidate, reduced hours will be considered.
