About the opportunity

We are on the lookout for a Legal Administrator to join our Ōtautahi team. As an integral part of the Business Services team your role will provide high quality administration support to Authors, enabling us as a firm to deliver a high quality experience to our clients.

As part of a centralised legal support team, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage client and matter information, including engagement letters, conflict checks, and AML requirements.
  • Ensure accurate data in the practice management system and handle requests via the ticketing system.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as printing, filing, scanning, binding, and photocopying, reception cover.
  • Prepare legal and client documentation following templates and the style guide.
  • Deliver professional client support and assist with deeds and file organisation.
  • Support billing processes, including invoice preparation and debt collection.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance team and firm efficiency.
About you
  • Strong admin skills; legal experience a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with advanced Word, Outlook, and Excel skills.
