Job summary

Unitec invites applications for three fixed-term full-time Lecturers to cover maternity leave from 18 January 2027 to 30 July 2027 at Manukau & Mt Albert Campuses. The School of Applied Business seeks individuals to teach Accounting, Digital Marketing, and Accounting and General Business, bringing current industry knowledge into the classroom and supporting programme delivery.

The School of Applied Business is seeking three motivated and engaging Lecturers to join our team on a fixed-term basis, providing maternity leave cover from 18 January 2027 to 30 July 2027.

About the role

As a Lecturer, you will deliver engaging, learner-centred teaching that supports student success and achievement. You'll bring current industry knowledge into the classroom, create meaningful learning experiences, and contribute to the ongoing development of programmes and curriculum. Flexibility is essential, as the successful candidate will be required to travel and work across MIT and Unitec campuses as needed to support teaching and programme delivery. The role may also involve teaching outside of standard business hours, including evening classes, to support programme and learner needs.
