Job summary

Unitec, a premier New Zealand tertiary education provider, seeks enthusiastic Lecturers for the School of Applied Business to teach NZDB, BBS and BAcc programmes. The role is permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, spanning MIT and Unitec campuses with travel required to support delivery.

You will deliver learner-centred teaching, develop resources and assessments, and collaborate with industry partners to enhance learner outcomes. Evening classes may be required.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Business, Accounting or related discipline.
• Industry experience relevant to the programmes you teach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in tertiary education or adult learning environments (preferred).
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity in education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching across business and accounting programmes.
• Teach across MIT and Unitec campuses as required.
• Provide learner support and wellbeing
• Develop learning resources and assessment activities
• Build relationships with industry and community stakeholders
• Travel and teach across campuses as required
• Participate in professional development and scholarly activities
