About You

As Teaching and Learning Coordinator at Whitecliffe, you will play a crucial operational and administrative role in supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives defined by senior leadership. You'll be the driving force behind the successful execution of the Academic Development Programme, organising workshops, training sessions, and events that enhance teaching practices across the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support and Facilitation:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the Academic Development Programme
  • Organize and facilitate workshops on digital fluency, assessment strategies, and inclusive teaching
  • Coordinate activities aimed at improving teaching practices across the institution
  • Serve as a point of contact for faculty, addressing needs and providing guidance

Technology and Faculty Support:

  • Collaborate with IT and academic teams on LMS integration and digital teaching tools
  • Support teaching staff in adopting innovative technologies
  • Assist academic staff in understanding and applying strategies introduced by senior leadership
  • Conduct needs assessments to ensure well-targeted faculty development efforts

Data Analysis & Strategic Reporting:

  • Responsible for preparing reports for senior leadership team and faculties
  • Contributing to institutional decision-making through data-driven insights

Student-Centric and Resource Management:

  • Support initiatives enhancing student engagement, particularly for Māori and Pasifika learners
  • Promote respectful, inclusive, and empathetic teaching practices
  • Assist in coordinating the academic development budget
  • Collaborate with senior staff to identify external funding opportunities

Programme Development & Workshop Facilitation:

  • Design, develop, and deliver workshops as part of the Academic Development Programme
  • Evaluate workshop effectiveness and gather feedback to continuously improve programme delivery
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and external facilitators to enhance programme offerings
