Job summary

Ebbett Park School in Hawke's Bay invites an experienced educator to join us as Learning Support Coordinator. You will lead learning support across the full primary school, work with the Principal and DP, and develop personalised plans to support diverse learners.

This role focuses on inclusion, wellbeing, and collaborating with whānau and specialists to raise learner outcomes. The ideal applicant holds NZ teacher registration, has SENCO or similar leadership experience, and understands NZ

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of learning support systems in Aotearoa New Zealand.
• Enjoys collaborating and working as part of a team.
• Holds a current New Zealand teacher registration and certification.
• Experience supporting neurodivergent ākonga and those with diverse learning needs.
• Understands inclusive education, assessment, evidence-informed interventions.

Responsibilities

• Leadership of Mitey across the school.
• Individual Education Plans for LS students.
• PLD for teachers on inclusive education, including staff meetings.
• Oversight of Teacher Aide timetables and responsibilities.
• Oversight of LS interventions.
• Leadership of Wellbeing across the school (student, staff and community).
