This LSC role is a full-time role, fixed term for the 2026 year (starting 28 January 2026 to 27 January 2027), with the successful applicant based at Golden Bay High School and working between Golden Bay High School (selected year levels), Collingwood Area School and Motupipi School. The successful applicant will work closely with key staff in each school to ensure that learning support is delivered in a cohesive and effective way, supporting our students/ākonga from Y1–13. Our current LSC will be on leave for the 2026 school year.

Our schools are seeking a culturally responsive, well organised, professional person to be our learning support coordinator. Our ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills, be flexible and have knowledge/understanding of additional needs in students of varying ages. Having your own reliable car (travel allowance paid), a full driver's licence and current NZ teaching certification is also a requirement.
