Overview

Matua Ngaru School is a fast-growing full primary school in Huapai, with wonderful learning spaces. We are seeking a passionate learning support coordinator (LSC) to join our team from the beginning of term 1, 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference for learners, teachers, and whānau, while strengthening inclusive practices within our school.

Subjects

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8)

English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

Role and requirements

We are seeking an experienced educator with the flexibility to work alongside leadership, kaiako and students where needed. You will lead, influence, and collaborate to ensure that every learner is recognised, supported, and able to thrive. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to and be able to form relationships with all learners and ensure they are developing our school values of Respect/Whakaute, Integrity/Māia and Courage/Pono. We are looking for a New Zealand registered leader who has up to date knowledge and experience of the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum and structured approaches to learning.
