The Role
  • Lead a team of carpenters and work with a site manager to coordinate site activities, with some work on the tools.
  • Manage subcontractors, run toolbox meetings, oversee site safety and quality control, and assist with ordering materials.
  • There is time on the tools initially, with room to move off as you gain experience.
Your background
  • Carpentry trade qualification.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in commercial construction.
  • Desire to develop experience on commercial projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to step into supervisory duties.
  • High systems awareness, deadline-driven, and pride in quality.
  • On-the-tools capability with a progression mindset.
