Job description
Overview

Sacred Heart Girls' College is seeking an experienced languages teacher wishing to move into a middle leadership role or a current leader of learning wishing to diversify and develop their leadership opportunities. Subjects taught are German, French, Spanish and ESOL. Experience teaching German is essential. Please state areas of expertise in your application.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to school-wide strategic development with a sound, evidence-based understanding of effective pedagogy.
  • Collaborate effectively and influence meaningful and sustainable change.
  • Coach and mentor staff across the languages learning area.
  • Support the languages learning area across Years 7–15 / wharekura (Middle leadership).
Qualifications and requirements

Current NZ practising certificate is required. Willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
