Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Salesforce Technical Consultant in Auckland to lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions for diverse clients. You will provide expert technical guidance, influence product selections, and support pre-sales activities to maximize client value.

The role requires 10+ years of IT experience with strong Salesforce hands-on expertise, advanced platform knowledge, and a track record in consulting environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of broad IT experience with hands-on Salesforce expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its ecosystem.
• Experience delivering solutions in an outsourced or consulting environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Salesforce solutions that maximise platform effectiveness and drive business value for our clients.
• Provide expert consultation and technical guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on Salesforce best practices.
• Identify and recommend appropriate Salesforce products, tools and integrations to meet client needs.
• Contribute to the sales cycle by providing technical expertise and supporting pre-sales activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and champion new ways of working within the Salesforce practice.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
