Job summary

Xero is seeking a Platform Product Manager to shape how a technology organization delivers AI-native solutions. You’ll build shared platforms and operating models to enable scalable AI across teams, with harnesses, gateways, and agents to improve speed, safety, and toil reduction.

You’ll drive initiatives across the full delivery lifecycle, align stakeholders, and coach others to build strong AI product practice.

Qualifications

• You bring strong platform product management experience, ideally across developer tools, infrastructure, data or AI.
• You think in systems, comfortably joining the dots across various phases and teams.
• Translating complex technical possibilities into clear outcomes and investment decisions comes naturally to you.
• Your approach to discovery, delivery and measurement is outcome-focused, and you know how to prove what's working.
• Ambiguity, evolving technology and incomplete information don't throw you off course.
• Curiosity and pragmatism sit alongside the resilience to turn early experiments into scalable products.

The Team / How They Connect

This group shapes how products connect to Xero's wider AI strategy and objectives, and looks after the tools and ways of working that help thousands of Xeros deliver value. You'll build close relationships with Engineering, Security, Data and several other teams, keeping decisions joined up across the business.

The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on

• Building and scaling the shared capabilities behind Xero's AI-native delivery model.
• Aligning stakeholders on strategy and priorities, and setting baselines for adoption, delivery speed, cost, quality and technology health.
• Publishing quarterly roadmaps, operating model and governance approach for the initiatives.
• Moving the highest-value workflows from pilot into repeatable adoption
