About The Role

Play a vital role as the Practice Nurse Team Leader at this busy clinic. As a trusted member of your community, you will oversee a team of dedicated nurses, complete necessary admin, and ensure a patient-centred approach to support the health and wellbeing of your community.

Remuneration And Benefits

  • Earn $51-54/hr depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday position working 4-5 days a week (0.8 FTE)

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide support and leadership to a team of nurses and streamline operations
  • Triage patients and deliver high quality care to achieve identified outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate & coordinate care
  • Maintain detailed and compliant patient records
  • Support the growth and development of the nursing team
  • Engage proactively in continuous improvement programs

What You Need To Be Successful

  • NZ Registered Nurse with current APC, authorised vaccinator and cervical smear taker
  • Primary health or general practice exposure in New Zealand
  • Be confident in using technology and medical record keeping systems
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
