Job summary

Casa, an established waterfront eatery in Ahuriri, Napier, is seeking a Chef de Partie for a permanent, full-time role with at least 30 hours weekly. You will support senior chefs, manage your section, and help mentor juniors in a lively kitchen.

We value reliability, strong communication, and attention to detail. Experience and a proactive attitude are important as you grow with the team and contribute to the evolving menu at a new restaurant.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ relevant kitchen experience.
• Attitude and motivation to grow leadership potential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, social kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef and manage your own section.
• Assist with food preparation, service and quality control.
• Manage stock, menu development and costing.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain high kitchen standards and efficiency.
