Job summary

Theta invites an experienced Lead Integration Consultant to join our Digital Integration team in New Zealand. You will work on cloud and hybrid integration projects using the Microsoft stack, driving architecture, design, and delivery excellence.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to solution design, and ensure delivery quality in a fast-paced environment across Auckland or Wellington offices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building cloud-native solutions on .NET with Azure.
• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding delivery quality.
• Ownership of technical direction in integration projects.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns and security in the cloud.
• Able to scope, estimate, and communicate solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Lead Integration Consultant to be a part of the Digital Integration team where you'll be engaged in cloud and hybrid integration projects, largely around the Microsoft stack. This role can be based in either Wellington or Auckland. You'll bring innovative ideas to each solution, where quality counts and your insights matter.

What we require:

• 8+ years building cloud-native solutions using C# and modern.NET (preferably in Azure)
• Proven experience mentoring and developing other engineers, lifting the capability of the people around you
• Experience owning the technical direction of integration projects and accountability for delivery quality
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and experience delivering integration solutions
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and how to apply the services appropriately
• Strong knowledge of security best practices in the cloud space
• Ability to work independently on customer-facing project work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to contribute to solution design and the accurate scoping and estimation of customer projects
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Nice to have:

• Prior consulting experience
• Experience working with IaC (Terraform preferred)
• Experience using GenAI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and delivery
